Philosophy And Milestones 

Meiko Building Materials Supplier was first established in 1973 as a partnership and incorporated in 1976 as a private limited company. These 30 years, the company had witnessed the evolution and revolution of the business environment. To prepare and cope better with the changes that would invariably surface with the evolution of new business models and paradigm shift in mindset, the company worked towards achieving the ISO 9002 quality management system and gladly achieved certification in January 2001. The company upgrades and complies with ISO 9001:2000 in August 2003. The essence of the exercise is to raise the awareness of new practices that are prevalent in the corporate scene so as to gear our people to be better prepared to cope with future changes.

The company first computerisation began in the mid 80’s and in order to keep pace with the revolutionary changes in the information technology environment, the company embarked on an IT project for the implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in 2006. The company looks forward to upgrade and launch other projects that can bring benefits and advantages to their customers and society.
